Alpen Rainier Series 20-60x 80mm Waterproof Spotting Scopes 851ED feature a high quality HD(High definition) ED(Extra low dispersion) optical system which utilizes extra low dispersion high definition optics delivering outstandingimage optical clarity and color fidelity while defining a high quality viewing performance. This Alpen Spotting Scope is provided with UBX fully multicoated optics, BaK4 prisms and SHR metallic coating which are combined to provide the brightest and sharpest image possible. The large objective lens on the 20 -60 x 80mm Rainier Water Proof HD ED Spotting Scope by Alpen collect huge amounts of light that allow the high magnification zoom lens elements to deliver a clear and sharp image. The Alpen Rainier Spotting Scope also offers an adjustable body collar allowing the user to turn the spotting scope for optimal positioning when viewing astronomical or terrestrial objects. As far as weather conditions go, there is no limit to when the spotting scope can be used outdoors because it is O-ring sealed and nitrogen filled with a fully waterproof and fogproof construction.
