The ATN Day/Night Riflescope System 4-12x80 DNS Gen.3 NVDN04803A (14794) is a highly accurate daytime sniper scope. 80mm(!) objective and 40mm(!) tube combined with the best, German quality multicoated glass on the market makes this sight the best light-gathering device for shooting in the world. The Night Vision eyepiece can utilize a wide array of Image Intensifier Tubes to meet a wide range of customer requirements.

The ATN 4-12x80 NVDN04803A has an Electronic reticle. There are 10 degrees of illumination. The rheostat is the knob located at the back of the scope. It is labeled with numbers 0 through 10. When the rheostat is set at 0 you will see a black etched reticle. The reticle will light up red electronically as you rotate the rheostat through the numbers, 10 being the brightest.

You should have zeroed 4-12x80 in at 100 yards. When shooting at longer ranges the bullet drop compensator can be adjusted for 200, 300, 400, 500 and 1000. Pending on the distance click the bullet drop compensator to the appropriate setting. This will automatically adjust your reticle for that particular distance. Your scope also comes with other cams allowing you to change your bullet drop compensator to work with the different rifles.
