This is a great case overall. Very spacious and holds much more than advertised, can fit 4 rifles easy. Unfortunately the foam is not thick enough to hold your weapons snug. I added an extra 3/4" pad to the inside half of each side and now everything...

Latches need to be replaced with stronger heavy duty quality latches. Padding would need to be alot thicker. Overall a good buy, go ahead treat yourself to one. Pros: Hard shell case & Double sided Cons: Latches & Padding

Product Info for Loaded Gear AX-400 Hard Case

The Loaded Gear AX-400 Hard Rifle Case is designed to carry up-to two 50 inch long rifles or shotguns in it's two separate storage compartments. This protective Loaded Gear ABS AX-400 Travel Hard Case features two crushproof handles. With eight key latch locks and four padlock adaptable fittings, this case offers above standard security protection. The rigid ABS and black aluminum frame offers added reinforcement to the exterior of this protective rifle case. The Loaded Gear AX-400 Hard Rifle Case w/ Foam includes four layers of removable egg crate foam, two in each compartment and the interior of the case is also lined with shock absorbing foam liner. Built in to the Loaded Gear AX-400 Hard Carrying Cases are interior locking hinges to ensure that the case stays open for easier access.image
