Compact dry ice maker attaches to a liquid CO2 cylinder (not included) and produces a ready-to-use 250–350g (8.8–12.3oz.) block of dry ice in a few minutes. Each 22.7kg (50lbs.) cylinder yields 10–16 blocks of dry ice. Set up and use is safe and simple. The polycarbonate body secures without clamps or screws for easy removal of the solid block of dry ice and disconnection from the CO2 cylinder. The transparent polycarbonate body allows viewing of dry ice production and allows safe transport of the dry ice around the lab.

A 1.8m (6') rugged nickel-plated copper tube with standard CGA 320 thread coupling connects the dry ice maker to an LCO2 cylinder valve, which is used to regulate gas flow. The system operates at very low pressure and incorporates multiple pressure relief safeguards. Pressure is displayed on the built-in dial gauge. (Bel-Art F388740000)
