Handheld printer produces legible labels with a professional appearance for a variety of lab sample containers. Auto-serialization feature increases efficiency by producing 40 labels in less than two minutes. Printer is ideal for creating 25 to 250 labels at a time and features one-touch time and date stamping and built-in barcoding. Printer has the ability to create over 140 Greek, research, and safety symbols commonly used in the laboratory.

IdentiLab* software employs easy-to-use wizards and a streamlined, click-and-drop style interface to create files and templates for labeling solutions. The software expands the font, symbol, and size options beyond that of the LABXPERT printer alone. It matches hundreds of parts and graphics with common lab applications to simplify label making and features a multi-label data entry view, automatic text formatting, 2-D and linear barcode support, as well as superscript and subscript characters. A database import capability has a refresh feature to ensure data integrity.

IdentiLab version 1.0 operates on Windows* 98, 2000 (with Service Pack 1), NT (with service pack 6a), and XP. The software requires a Pentium processor, Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher, 64MB of RAM (minimum of 16MB), 100MB of available hard drive space, a 16-Bit or greater video display card, 800x600 or greater monitor resolution, and a CD-ROM drive.
