Vendor Relations

This business function is manifold and can be carried out by different teams who interact with vendors. To us it ultimately means building lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors that turn into true partnerships and even friendships.

The Procurement and Supply Chain Management team helps to assure financial viability of the company by keeping cost of inventory as low as possible, while achieving optimal stock level and order fulfillment. The buyers make decisions on a daily basis that have far-reaching implications – from negotiation of terms and special deals to purchasing to interacting with different levels of people on the vendors’ side.

It takes a tremendous business savvy to analyze inventory and strike the delicate balance between too much and not enough. It takes a lot of ingenuity, people skills and resolve to maintain such relationships with vendors that result in numerous benefits to the company and the customer – lower prices, better quality of service, special deals, unique offerings. 

 The Vendor Services team combines the coolest features of Marketing and Vendor Relations by forging strategic relationships with vendors via providing unique promotional services. This team is instrumental in the development of our own private label – OPMOD – that is revolutionizing the industry with its innovativeness.
