Double emulsion film provides maximum clarity and sensitivity for detection of chemiluminescent labeled samples. Produces the highest signal-to-noise ratio of any KODAK film for detection of chemiluminescence.

Also suitable for direct and intensifying screen exposures with commonly used isotopes. However, the film provides lower sensitivity and requires longer exposure times compared to BioMax MR, BioMax MS, and X-OMAT* AR films for radioisotope detection. Use with KODAK GBX-2 Safelight Filter (IB1416627), 7.5W or 15W bulb only. Suitable for manual and automated processing.
