Carson's 7.5x Magnification Digital Reader DR-200 allows those with impaired vision an affordable way to read small print and maintain their independent lifestyle. The magnifier has the ability to change the user's television into a low vision aid with a magnification of 7.5x on a 21" television monitor. The size of the monitor determines the actual magnification of the item. The larger the screen, the greater the magnification.

This Carson magnifier can be simply connected to the video input of the television using the supplied video cable, while pressing the power button on top of the magnifier, after placing the item directly on top of any kind of reading material. The object that is viewed on the television screen appears in full color. Internal LED illumination guarantees that the image on the screen is bright enough for the user to read. The Carson magnifier also comes with an extra long video cable and power cord so the user can sit at a farther distance away from the TV for reading if desired. Power is supplied using 3 AAA batteries or with the included A/C power adapter.
