Celestron AstroMaster LT 76AZ Telescope 31036 is a compact telescope with the imaging power to view distant galaxies and star clusters with high clarity. Theseimage Celestron telescopes are easy to set up and tear down without the use of tools, making them a great option for field use, and their fast quick release dovetail attachment speeds up the process even more. These Newtonian telescopes feature a 76mm aperture with high clarity glass mirrors, coated with aluminum and SiO2 for excellent light transmission rates. The AstroMaster telescope has a permanently mounted StarPointer finderscope for convenient wide-field navigation, and its included deluxe accessory tray stores telescope accessories for easy access, improving the versatility of the telescope. The Celestron Astro-Master LT 76mm Alt-Azimuth Telescope is supported by a rugged steel tube tripod with a smooth-panning pan knob. The manually-operated altazimuth mount of the telescope is both smooth and accurate, so you can always get a good fix on celestial objects. Celestron has packaged the telescope with the comprehensive SkyX astronomy software, which is loaded with a database of over 10,000 objects, a virtual index of the night sky that will help you get to know your universe.
