A stainless steel fold-up protected probe permits carrying on the wrist-strap or in a pocket. Thermometer is shockproof in drop tests up to 1.5m (5'). Other features include °C/°F switch, minimum and maximum memory readings over any time period, and a hold switch (freezes display to capture a temperature). Unit has a big-digit, 1.9cm (3/4") display.

A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
