The CRKT Hammond FE 9 Fixed Blade Knife is a longer-bladed version of this meticulously designed tactical knife. The CRKT FE Knife series is made with tactical users in mind - the most demanding soldiers, the operators who expect nothing but the best from their equipment and from themselves. The massive fixed-blade CRKT FE 9 Knife is made to meet and far exceed those expectations. Designed by custom Knifemaker Jim Hammond from Arcenio James Advincula's concepts, the CRKT FE 9 Tactical Fixed Blade Knife is made to have a "no bull" attitude, with an aggressive drop-point blade shape and a razor-sharp, slight recurve bottom edge along with a sharpened leading top edge. The massive blade length along with the false edge upper, hollow ground profile, and 0.25-inch thick full-tang blade give the FE 9 lights-out toughness. The handle is purposefully shaped of black G10, complete with pronounced finger grooves and full blade guard. Grip position is slightly angled in relation to the blade for maximum energy transfer when in use.

The CRKT FE 9 Knife includes a flexible, rugged sheath that's as carefully designed as the knife it carries, giving the operator limitless carry options without the need for modification. Molded black nylon with glass fiber reinforcement halves are assembled to create a form fit "click in" cavity to contain the knife. A snap strap further secures the knife safely, even inverted. The sheath has been designed to accommodate Molle clip attachments, as well as having a leg strap and ample slots/grommets for lashing if warranted. It comes complete with all of the required hardware for belt or Molle attachment in either high or low positions.
