The Instructor's Rappel Harness (IRH) is designed for spending long periods of time on the rope without being uncomfortable. The IRH is built with Mil. Spec. webbing and hardware and sewn with #5 nylon cord using stitch patterns approved for . The webbing is 1-3/4 inch 7000 lb. tensile type 13 with type 12 webbing used as an abrasion buffer. Back of waist strap and leg support straps are heavily padded!!
