Eberlestock J107M Dragonfly Military Backpack is a versatile, expandable backpack that can be used as a day pack just as easily as a full-sized freighter
pack. The newest addition to the Eberlestock Just One series of backpacks, the Dragonfly is also the largest backpack in the Just One line. However, the power of the Dragonfly lies in its versatility; it can go from a 2900 cubic inch day pack to a 5425 cubic inch hauler in just a few simple steps. In day pack mode, the Eberlestock J107M Dragonfly features side-by-side vertical pouches along the back, both of which can be accessed from the top or side. Zip down the middle to expand the mesh game pocket, and you've added a third large storage compartment. Add the optional Eberlestock Spike Duffel or the Eberlestock Super Spike, and you'll have even more storage capacity, making for a powerful multi-day pack. If you need nothing more than a courier or fanny bag for a short excursion from the campsite, the top of the Eberlestock Dragonfly Military Pack quickly unclips from the backpack and reveals a waist belt, letting you haul three compartments (one of which is designed specifically for hydration systems) of storage down the trail and back. A network of Eberlestock's unique PALS webbing covers most surfaces of the pack, allowing you to attach additional Eberlestock pouches and accessories to the pack without a problem.
The Eberlestock Military Dragon Fly Packs were designed to carry whatever you can lift, so they incorporate some stellar support and ventilation features that can almost make you forget you're even wearing a pack. For starters, Eberlestock makes it easy to adjust the main pad with the easily accessible aluminum stays. An extra-thick lumbar pad and a generous waist belt distributes the weight of the Eberlestock Dragonfly to your hips, not your shoulders. And if you're carrying lots of heavy equipment, the compression straps will help secure and evenly distribute your load out, placing the weight closer to your spine for easier weight management.
The Eberlestock J107M Dragon Fly was designed with the for military users and has a few differences from its civilian and hunting-minded brother. Though both Eberlestock backpacks feature integrated weapon scabbards, the scabbard of the J107M is slightly larger and wider than the Eberlestock J107H Hunting DragonFly, allowing you to carry sniper rifles with large rifle scopes and other long guns. The scabbard tucks up into the bottom of the backpack when you're not using it for both models. In the interior pouch, the Eberlestock Military Dragonfly Backpack contains a radio pocket for large-scale military radios. And while the J107 is already constructed of waterproof N7 nylon, the tactical version is made of even tougher 1000d Cordura nylon coated with polyurethane. For a durable, adaptable backpack that works both as a day pack and as a military-grade freighter, pick up the Eberlestock J107M Tactical Dragonfly Backpack.
