Meters measure and display air velocity and temperature. Air velocity can be measured in fpm, mph, m/s, km/h, knots, or Beaufort force, with a selectable averaging function of 5, 10, or 13-second intervals. Data hold function freezes most recent display and auto shutoff initiates 20 minutes after the last key is pressed. The water-resistant housing floats and has been drop-tested to 1.8m (6'). Plastic impeller is noncorrosive and replaceable. Meter housings can fold up or extend to 22.9cm (9").

Meter 89030-360 also features a dual display of air velocity and relative humidity with dew point.
