Garmin Approach G5 Touchscreen Golf GPS Navigation Device is designed specially for use on the golf course. Approach uses a high-sensitivity Marine Electrical to measure individual shot distances and show the exact yardage to fairways, hazards and greens. Approach G5 by Garmin is now comes preloaded with over 12,000 course maps for the U.S. and Canada. This Garmin GPS has been enhanced with innovative stat tracking software that records putts per round, fairways hit and greens in regulation. It also tracks club distance averages and is still incredibly easy to use.

Golfers can keep score for up to four players using the digital scorecard and view their scores/stats on their Garmin Approach or computer. Touch targeting allows players to key onto landing areas and greens with precision, and manual pin positioning allows them to adjust the flag for the day's pin position. Garmin is continually adding courses to our CourseView database, and there are no subscription fees. The detailed golf course maps provide golfers with precise distance information about fairways, hazards and greens from any point on the course. As players move about the course, the unit continuously updates position and shows the distance to each target. Additionally, we are enhancing our courses with treeline features (may require free software update). Players may use the treeline as a strategic place to focus their aim on a drive or approach.
