GG&G AccuCam SOCOM II Quick Detach Scope Mount GGG-1433 is a well-integrated, reliable scope mounting system designed specifically for use on the SOCOM 2 M1A rifle. The SOCOM II M1A rifle is a compact, powerful close quarter combat battle rifle; however, its "Cluster Rail" system makes it difficult to mount a conventional low powered scope, which is where this GG&G rifle scope mount comes in. The overall design of the scope mount provides smooth integrated appearance, and the Accucam quick detach system of the GG & G SOCOM 2 Accu-Cam QD 30mm Tube Riflescope Mount provides quick and easy on-off transitions while maintaining 1/2 MOA accuracy. The Accucam QD system is fully adjustable to fit worn or out of spec dovetails, and GG&G has equipped the mount with dual recoil lugs that interface with the recoil slots of the top dovetail rail to provide secure recoil resistance. The 30mm tube diameter of the mount will fit most rifle scopes, and the cantilever feature of the GG&G SOCOM II Scope Base overhangs by three inches to allow for additional forward/rearward adjustment for scopes with different eye reliefs. The main body is manufactured from solid billet 6061 T-6 aluminum, Type III hard anodized in a non-reflective combat finish per mil-spec.
