The reticle plates are manufactured from 3/8 inch 6061-T6 aluminum plate, bead blasted, Type III hard anodized black to mil-spec - the same high standards that GG&G uses for their swivels and mounts - then CNC machined, and then powder coated with a clear UV protectant clearcoat. The Reticle Plate is attached to the hitch tube with stainless steel helicoils and stainless steel socket head cap screws. All of this good stuff is guaranteed to give you years of trouble free use. The GG&G Reticle Hitch Cover requires a hitch pin or lock which is not included.
