High Solution 100 Reaction KitThe Harvard Apparatus General Purpose Biotite Reaction Chamber was specifically designed to accommodate the large volume reagent required for most biochemical procedures. Its wide range of use includes the digestion of tissue sections, the neutralization of heavy metal ions, extraction of color from plant tissue samples, preparation of tissue sections for microscopic examination under ultra-violet light, and sterilization of specimens by gamma rays. The proprietary formulation includes povidone-iodoformic acid crystals, and sterilization of specimens by gamma-radiation. The apparatus is easily assembled and requires no electricity, water, or other power sources. An electric field is generated by applying a voltage across the membrane of the chamber, saturating the mercury with a current until you release it. The result is a vigorous current with a constant flow of fresh, color-coded, user-friendly instructions.
