Fiberglass explosion-proof blowers are designed for fume hood exhaust systems in moderate to highly corrosive conditions and have non-sparking polypropylene impellers and explosion-proof motors. Housing is molded fiberglass-reinforced polyester for durability and long life.

Coated steel explosion-proof blowers are recommended for low to moderately corrosive applications and feature non-sparking aluminum impellers and explosion-proof motors for maximum safety. Housing has phenolic coating for corrosion resistance.

Both blowers have a dry powder epoxy-coated base and weather cover for protection in extreme weather. Sheaves are adjustable to allow for air volume adjustment. Self-adjusting gravity belt tightener ensures consistent performance because belt is held taught by the weight of the motor. Motor mount keeps the motor in place should the belt ever fail.

Blower motors are UL listed.
