Dual CFC- and HCFC-free refrigeration systems cool collector to –84°C (–119°F). Models have brushed stainless steel and glacier white, epoxy-coated steel exterior with blue accents. Equipped with automatic one-button start-up to initiate collector and vacuum, dual LCD screens for vacuum and collector temperatures with LED “waves” to indicate proper conditions, a 22.9cm (9") condenser drain hose, and a 7.6cm (3") diameter stainless steel port for connection of drying accessories.
All models feature a red alarm light to indicate any abnormal system events such as power failure or improper line voltage supply, a moisture sensor that detects moisture in the collector chamber area, a vacuum break valve that bleeds air into the system when power to dryer or vacuum pump is shut off, and a rear-mounted RS-232 port. Models include hot gas defrost and switch with automatic hot gas shut-off when collector coil reaches 65°C (149°F).
The optional purge valve, located between the pump and the condenser, helps extend pump life, prevent back streaming of vacuum pump and minimize the chance of contamination of samples if power is interrupted. Models with the built-in vacuum drying chamber include a heater with microprocessor control from –40 to 60°C (–40 to 140°F). Vacuum drying chamber measures 13.6Wx33Dx6.4Hcm (513/32x13x21/2").

Ordering Information: Models include a three-wire cord with either a 20A plug (115V models) or a 15A plug (208/230V models) and a 1.9cm (3/4") I.D. vacuum hose with two clamps for connection to a vacuum pump. All models require a minimum 144L/min. vacuum pump as well as a drying chamber or manifold for operation.
