The tripod adapter received is very different in design from that shown. It is suitable for porro prism binoculars and a good value for cost. Pros: Low Cost Cons: Suitable for porro prism binoculars only

It is inexpensive and it works great. I used it on a Utah Bighorn sheep hunt and it did not add much to my pack weight and was secure.
