This telescope by Meade has a objective diameter - 50 mm and focal length - 625 mm. This Meade telescope features 2 interchangeable eyepieces (12.5 mm and 25 mm) which comes with diagonal viewer. Another feature of this entry level telescope from Meade is the 5 x 24 mm Viewfinder for easy sighting in distant object. 3X Barow lens helps to obtain maximum magnification, 35X erecting eyepiece can double as a 14x microscope.

Meade 50AZ-P Altazimuth Refractor Telescope has adjustable telescoping metal tripod with accessory tray and a Pan Handle Control Mount. Also included is a fully illustrated instruction manual and as a bonus - AutoStar Suite Astronomer software on DVD (for Windows PC which displays over 10,000 astronomical objects on-screen and will teach you the night sky and star charts, and will help you plan your observing sessions. 50 AZ P Altazimuth Refractor Telescope by Meade is recommended for children from 8 years old and up.
