Meade #126 Barlow Lens is now in use by thousands of serious amateurs throughout the world. This lens unit varies the power obtained with any given eyepiece, while maintaining excellent image quality. Their precise corrections for spherical and chromatic aberrations at all photo visual wavelengths result in sharp, high resolution performance on telescopes of any optical design. Meade #126 Barlow Lens is multi coated for maximum image contrast and light transmission. Only 2.5'' long, the Meade #126 works well with any telescope accepting 1.25'' eyepieces, even those with limited focus range, and maintains high image quality. Insert the #126 into a star diagonal for 2x or insert the diagonal into the #126 for 3x. 27mm diameter (26mm clear aperture).
Designed for the ETX 90EC, ETX 105EC, and ETX 125EC, and Meade Digital Series DS telescopes.
This barlow lens is good. Small, high built quality and yet selling at bargain price. Fully multi-coated optics provide excellent light transmission. The only issue is there is presence of slight chromatic aberation when used with high power eyepiece...

This barlow works very well. Most amateurs (like me) don't need to spend any more on higher end barlows. Good value.
Pros: Clean, crisp views. Good value.
I used this barlow with a Meade 114EQ-AR also purchased from this website. It's a beginner newtonian reflector with kelner eyepieces. The barlow did not degrade the quality of the images; a great addition to this scope.
Pros: Clear, sharp images
The Meade Barlow works very well for nebula and deep space objects but not so good with planets unless you use the higher mm lenses.
My next purchase will be 07176-02: 1.25inch Meade Super Plossl 32mm Eyepiece.
Pros: Works well with my 25mm lens.
