The Meade Piggyback Bracket bolts securely to the top of the telescope using existing mounting points on the tube. Compatible with all Meade 8" SCT and ACF models past and present including 8" LX90 and 8" LX200. Piggyback photography is a popular and easy way to get started in long exposure astrophotography and this adapter will let you get going. This easy to use Meade SCT/ACF Piggyback Bracket allows secure mounting of your film or digital SLR camera which has a standard 1/4-20 thread for a tripod mounting bolt on the bottom to the top of your Meade telescope. Please note that the telescope must be wedge (equatorially) mounted and polar aligned for star images in long exposures to appear properly.
