I am looking for a good pair of birding binoculars for my husband. I plan on spending around $400. What do you recommend?

Thanks!

Heather

I am looking for something offered at the 10 x 50 range. I want the best optics for the price.

Thanks,

Heather

Hi Heather

A 10x50 is unnecessarily large for birding. It won't do anything more than a quality 10x42 and it will drastically limit your selection, not to mention increase the price and also the weight of the binocular. Any of those models I listed are available in a 10x42, but if you want to go with a 10x50 you can try the Celestron Regal, http://www.opticsplanet.com/celestron-r ... cular.html
