I need opinions
As economy grade binos go, the Powerview is actually a serviceable binocular and quite adequate for casual use such as watching birds at the feeder or the action at a football game. For more specific applications such as serious birding, hunting, astronomy, wildlife watching and so on, or for hard use, it falls short in the needed features and quality.
Optically it suffers form low grade BK-7 prisms and low performance lens coatings. The Instafocus wheel offers fast focusing, but tends to wear prematurely. It should not be used outdoors under adverse conditions because it is not sealed against the elements.
As long as you keep your expectations in line with its price, you will not be disappointed.
