Pentax 8 x 32 DCF SP versus Zeiss 8 x 30 Conquest
Could you please outline any key differences between these two binoculars. Are there any particular pros or cons that would make you favour one over the other?
Do the Nikon Premier 8 x32 (7534) binoculars offer any discernable advantages or value compared to the Pentax or Zeiss please.

Hi
In my tests, the DCF SP outscored the Conquest in terms of resolution, brightness and edge sharpness. The SP also focused smoother and more precisely. Go with the Conquest if you want the Zeiss name (a legit reason), but go with the SP if you want the performance.

Not sure if they changed it, but Conquest eye cups were rather uncomfortable. If you use glasses, it makes no difference.
Of the Conquest line, I think the 8x30 is the most practical. The others get too heavy, compared to the competition.

Hi
I love the Premier LX, but, no, I don't think there is a significant difference in the optics over the SP. I would, however, give the Premier LX a slight edge in build quality - first rate.
