need help and suggestion for light weight binocular
Hello every one,
I am looking for a light weight binocular for my trip .I definitely want to keep the weight below 500 gram and price range upto 200$.
I am mostly looking into 8x25 - 8x32.
I want to use it mostly early part of day and evening . I would like to have reasonably wide, sharp and contrasty view, at least partial water resistance would be nice too.
I have seen five model but i am confused which one to select from it or to choose new one
1)pentax ucf xII 8x25.
2)pentax ucf wp 8x25.
3)olympus tracker 8x25.
4)nikon prostaff waterproof ATB 8x25.
5)nikon travelite V 8x25.
kindly help me,which would you advice me to look for?

Hi
You can't have it both ways. If you want something good in low light, a small binocular is not the best choice.
Of these, I would recommend the Pentax or the Prostaff to get the waterproof feature.

Re: need help and suggestion for light weight binocular
I'm looking for some advice on buying lightweight binoculars, with weight rather than size being the important feature as I suffer from a lot of pain in my right arm at times.

As always, that's just a matter of how much you want to pay. The Zeiss Victory 8x20 at only 8 oz is as good as it gets in a compact and a great choice. Plenty of other choices in an 8x20 or 8x25 - just check the specs for weight. Somethi9ng that is always listed.
