Which 12x50 Premier? If you means the 12x50 Premier SE, you will not find a sharper or brighter 12x50 at any price, but keep in mind that a) this is not a waterproof bino and b) it requires a special tripod adapter, Nikon 7806 and that can be hard to find. Standard tripod adapters will not work.

The Nikon if we are just talking optics. I have yet to test anything at any price that will outscore a premier SE.

Hello Joanie,

You said:

"I have yet to test anything at any price that will outscore a premier SE."

Does this comment apply to all Premier SE models or only the 12X50?

Thank you,

Norm

Basically any Premier SE, especially the 10x42, which you may find easier than the 12x50.

Thanks Joanie,

The 10X42's are the ones I would potentially be interested in, not the 12X50's. So, are you saying that strictly from an optical perspective, no other 10X42 outscores the Nikon Premier SE 10X42?

If I remember correctly, you rarely reccommend these. Does this mean they have a "weakness" not related to optical quality?

As always, your comments are very much appreciated.

Thank you!
