I just obtained a very nice pair of M-19, 7X50 binoculars. Great condition except to adjust the eye-width requires quite a bit of force to get the hinge to move. What can I safely and effectively use (lubricant) to free up the motion without it becoming loose?
I would so appreciate a reply so I can begin using these without doing a workout each time!
TIA
Barry

Re: Lubricate the hinge
Hi
Don't mess with lubricant - it will not seriously help and may just make it worse. Just open the bino as needed and leave it. It will work itself loose with use.
