I just bought a pair of Zeiss Victory FL 10x32 T* for $950.00 (new in box) from a guy who says he can't hold them steady.
Though I have experience with camera lenses, I'm a novice to binos. So, I went to a reputable dealer of all high-end optics and made my choice simply by taking a look through all they had in stock. I wanted a pair for pro football/baseball and hunting; something of good quality to last years, but light enough to carry all day.
Though I loved the view as well from the simlilar models Swarovski offered, I just couldn't beat the $950 price I knew I could get on the Zeiss Victory Fl.
I just got home with my new Zeiss and started looking online to see how they compared to others and noticed the retail price is almost double!! Am I missing something? Is this model discontinued or something? Or did I just get the best deal ever?

Re: Good Zeiss Victory FL 10x32 deal?
Hi
No, still a current item. Click on Zeiss 10x32
Depends on how long he has had them before he sold them. Prices on all Euro binos has been climbing very rapidly in just the last few years, but, regardless, you got an excellent deal. Note that the Zeiss warranty is also transferable

Re: Good Zeiss Victory FL 10x32 deal?
Jack, the 10x binos are a difficult lot. If you were to shop for a pair, I would recommend comparing 10x32 to 10x42. Some people can't hold the smaller one very well. In fact there are very few 10x32s I would look at. I have had 4 or so 10x42s. I use them for birding in winter, when birds are mostly in the field or in the water, not in trees.
You might have one of the few useful 10x32s. Nikon had one but I think it is gone.
