Steiner Predator c-5 binoculars

How do these binoculars compare with say swarovski or zeiss

Hi

They are an excellent binocular in their price range and would comapre with any bino in their price range. In terms of Zeiss, they are closest to a Conquest, but not a Victory FL. In a Swarovski, I'd rate them close to an SLC, but not an EL. If you want the optics of Victory FL or a Swarovski EL, you are going to have to pay the price. However, I ahve absolutely no hesitation in recommending the C5 if that's what you can spend.

Not quite to the level of the DCF ED or the HG - those are optically as good as it gets at that price point - which is higher. I'd say close to the Meopta, though.

How do the minox hg 10x52 or pentax ed compare optically with swarovski slc 10x50 or lieca ultravid 10x50

They will be close to the SLC, but the Ultravid is extinct. It is now the Ultravid HD and that bino is the next step above these, both int erms of optics and price
