I thought I had decided on Leupold Acadia 8x42 binoculars [hunting] until I came to this site.
Now I'm considering Nikon Monarch ATB, Bushnell Legend, and the Vortex Diamondback in the same 8x42.
Any recommendations/considerations/noticeable differences between the two?
Thanks for any advice anyone can provide.

Re: 8x42 comparison, hunting
Not sure of the needs here, but I alwaus get the widest field if all other things are the same. The edges are not always in focus, but you will see movement there too. Monarch is the worst in this aspect, narrow field.
The prices are similar. The Monarch has always been trusty with otics, but I had trouble getting the eye cups to stay out. Since I rarely use glasses, I put rubber bands to hold the cuos out after 2 yrs of use. They just stay out then.
Vortex has good resale value since the warranty transfers.
