Dr. Zeiss opera glasses

Postby BeWyse on Wed Jun 16, 2010 1:10 pm

Have inherited a pair of opera glasses, leather and emerald green enamel. They are inscribed with "Dr. Zeiss," "2 3/4 x," and "Germany." No other markings. Can anyone supply any information as I have found very little on the internet about them. Thanks in advance.

They would definitely be collectible, assuming they are indeed made in Germany. I am not a collector, but have seen antique dealers that buya nd sell old opera glasses. I would try one of them.
