Hi there
I would like to have some inputs on the Minox BD 10x42 ALT BR - I know they are descontinued nowadays but it's possible to get one till from some old stock. My main interest is about their sharpness/clarity level and if they are too prone to CA and finally - are these well built?

They are a decent binocular, yes, though not Minox's best, by any means. If you are really stuck on finding one, you may have some work ahead of you, since there were never a lot of them in circulation, anyway, not compared to other brands. I don't know of anyone who has one, but you never know until you start looking. Good luck.
