hi
have an question to you ...i want to purchase a binoc i'm just a beginner and dont want spend a lot of money...i see the Celestron skymaster 20x80 and Bresser special astro 20x80 with tripod... What you thing about this 2 binocs wich one you should choose if you was a beginner...

Pretty comparable binoculars, but you will need a tripod with either one to use them, effectively. Celestron gets you a better warranty, though.

Best bang for your optical buck in birding binoculars will be in the $150 range for a porro prism and $250 for a roof prism.

Try the Nikon AE 8x40 for a porro or the Nikon Monarch 3 or the Vortex Diamondback for a roof. Those will get you started, nicely.
