Nikon Monarch ATB binoculars vs Kahles binoculars

Are these comparable binoculars in 10 x 42?

I will be using the binoculars for hunting all over the US but primarily in the SE.

Hi

It would be hard to say anything bad about the Nikon Monarch 10x42 binocular. It has been one of the most popular hunting binoculars ever made and is surely one of the best values on the market at our low discount binocular price.

The Kahles 10x42 binocular is more than double the price of the Nikon Monarch 10x42 binocular, but is also a great value in its own way. It offers optical performance that approaches that of a Swarovski SLC 10x42, but for hundreds of dollars less.

Yes, the Kahles 10x42 binocular is a sharper glass than the Nikon Monarch 10x42, but at more than double the price, that is to be expected.
Either is a solid choice for hunting and will give you a lot of performance for your dollar.

What about the Kahles vs the Nikon LX's?

Kahle's versus Nikon LX

Both the Kahle's and Nikon LX are lifetime quality binoculars and excellent choices. Swarovski is the parent company of Kahles, and while the Kahles is an excellent binocular, it is generally not regarded as optically as good as the top of the line Swarovski.

The Nikon LX boasts optics that compares favorably with the finest optics made - the Leica Trinovids, Ultravids, the new Zeiss FL and the Swarovski EL. All are the best technology can make and all are so close in perfromance that it becomes a personal choice as to which one you choose.

The Nikon LX must be considered when looking at the very best.

I think that I am going to take a big leap in price and get a pair of Leica Trinovids in 8x42 or 8x50.
