I want to buy a good pair of 15x70 but not too expensive and was thinking about these 3 brands. The Prices are U$149,95 for the Oberwerk, U$84,00 for the Celestron and U$99,99 for the Galileo.
All of themare BaK 4 prisms, but Celestron says its multi-coated and Oberwerk and Galileo have the same specifications being fully multi-coated (it's what is on Oberwerk and Galileo websites).
Wich one should i buy? The Celestron are cheap, but i'm afraid of it and in the specifications the optics are not so good as the Oberwerk and Galileo, i've never heard about Galileo but read a lot of good reviews for Oberwerk and lots of bad reviews for Celestron and a review said that these 15x70 for Oberwerk and Galileo are made in the same Chinese Fabric so they are the same thing except for a little diferences like the looking, is it true? Cause if it's true i think i should buy the Galileo and not the Oberwerk cause it's a fifty dollars diference and Oberwerk has a 1 year warranty against Galileo and Celestron LifeTime Warranty.

Hi
I'd rate them as all pretty close, but you'll have a hard time beating Celestron for their lifetime "no fault" warranty.

Is it true that Oberwerk and Galileo are all the same but with a little diference? The optic is the same? Cause if Oberwerk optics is a little better than Celestron (Fully Multicoated instead of Multicoated only) and Oberwerk optics is equal to Galileo, i think it will be worthy buy a Galileo for just $12,00 more than Celestron.

Hi
All of these are sourced and made in the same location (China) and all are quite similar in terms of performance. If you are looking for something with the best warranty, try the Celestron Skymasters - lifetime, no fault.
