Best Binoculars for 0

I am confused after considerable research on what to buy. I have $500 dollars to spend and want the best for the $$. I stated on an earlier post I would be going to Alaska and would be using them for general outdoor viewing after that. I think I would like an 8-10 magnification and WP. Any suggestions Thanks for the input.

If you shop around and ask for best pricing, you can still find the Pentax SP for around $500. I would guess that OP would probably match or beat any price that you get. Remember, advertised price is not always the best price, you must ask.
