eotech/3x magnifier mounting

Postby enavarro544 on Thu Nov 08, 2007 10:20 pm

I have a eotech and the 3x magnifier, but when I mount both units together my sight picture thru the magnifier puts the red recticle to the right instead of the center. My zero is good, Also I want to raise my eotech, so that when I see thru the magnifier I don't get upper part of the eotech in my sight picture.

I have not personally mounted the two together but I have used them together. The mount for the magnifier is adjustable, so you should have a little room to play with. The magnifier will always sit a hair higher than the sight, but it sounds like you should have some room to lower it a bit. As for side to side, I'm not sure if it adjusts that way. Anybody else have a similar experience?
Best regards,

Ryan W.

The mounts are adjustable for windage and elevation. It's a couple of small slotted screws. It's also in the instruction manual. A riser isn't needed, but we do have one with a rear sight built in. It's the 9-RRA-DOM.

The Magnifier has a silver screw that will allow you to "center" the reticle inside of the magnifier. it doesn't adjust your zero, just your magnifier window.
