What mount, rings & scope

What mounts, rings & scope would you recommend for a Taurus Model 608 SS 8 3/8 barrell .357 mag. Thinking about a 2x8, but maybe a red dot.

We don't have a mount for you at this time. Try Brownell's at 800-741-0015. For a red dot to live a while on your gun with .357 loads it has to be a good one. Aimpoint, EOTech, or Docter, I would suggest. You can get by with a lot less if you'll use .38 target loads. Then I would suggest a Tasco Propoint for a scope I wouldn't do anything less than a Nikon 6560 for longevity with hot loads, but again, with milder loads you can get by with a lot less, like this Simmons 807732.

you can mount a b-square bq42306 which is stainless. I have one mounted on my Taurus 608 ss .357 and no drilling or tapping, it uses four screws that fit through the vent rib.
