Crimson Trace...front or side activation.

I am trying to decide which Crimson Trace grip to get for my Kimber Ultra Carry. I have looked at both the LG-304 (side activation) and the LG-404 (front activation), but unfortunately not side by side. I have tried my local sporting good stores and they always seem to have one or the other, but not both in stock at the same time. Both seem to be comfortable.

I would like to get users opinions on which they prefer and why. I would also like to find out which style seems to be more popular.

Hi,

I personally prefer the slimmer profile of the LG404. There is less material wrapping around the front strap. If you have smaller hands or shorter fingers, this is the way to go.
