Mako Group Fab Defense 5 Power Red Dot Magnifier MD5XMGNF

Wondering if anyone has an opinion/experience with these and/or the Mako company itself.

Thanks!

Hi,

These are a decent low-cost alternative to the EOTech and Aimopoint magnifiers, but keep in mind that they are not designed for military and law enforcement use. They are designed for the rest of us who do not absolutely need (and maybe can't afford) the best available. They're tough to beat for the price.
Best regards,

Ryan W.

I just ordered this online yesterday.

Today I get an email it is out of stock... but it still shows as 'in stock' on the webpage above.

That's pretty lame.

Hi,

Our website does not show inventory information. It does not show that the item is in stock, and we do not remove web pages for out of stock items unless they are discontinued. We keep the pages up so we can still take backorders. You can always call our sales team if you want to check on inventory levels.
Best regards,

Ryan W.

That information should be telegraphed ALL OVER your website for your 'online-only' shoppers as most online stores do have the tech/manpower for this.

Then again if people knew this they would shop elsewhere so I see the business reason behind not advertising this.
