Bushnell Holosight Gone?

Has Bushnell really dropped the Holosight from it's line? If so does that mean EOTech is the only source for a true holographic sight? I'd like to get a holosight for my Browning BLR to use in brush and woods. I know the Bushnell sight are good but are the EOTech several hunders dollars better?

The EOTechs are better in terms of battery life, watertight integrity, and ruggedness. They made the HOLOsight for Bushnell, and it's a great sight and a best buy. Unfortunately, their relationship has ended, and EOTech is only making sights for themselves now, although we have been hinting at an exclusive product for OpticsPlanet. By the way, we are taking orders for the last 600 HOLOsights on the planet, and they should be here in a few months. Camo as well.

In answer to your question, I wouldn't say they are worth hundreds more to a hunter, but certainly to a soldier. We hunters simply have the opportunity to take better care of our equipment.

Thanks. I think I found the place where I can get on a list to be notified when or if some more Holosights arrive. In the meantime I can snag one off another rifle.
