RED DOT FOR SIG 226

I have a Sig 226 and would like to mount a red dot scope. What mounting hardware do I need? Can I purchase any red dot sight and mount it or is there models just for pistols I should look at.

Don't know of a mount for a Sig besides drilling and tapping the frame. You can mount a Burris FastFirein place of your rear sight, and they work great, but standard mounts are not available for your gun.
