short range hog hunting - red dot , scope, or laser?
I will be using a Remington 7400 semi-auto 30-06 caliber for short range (20 to 50 yards) nightime hog shooting mostly around a feeder from a stand. I probably will mount a green feeder light shining on the feeder to illuminate the hogs. I am trying to decide what is the best to use for sighting.
* a low magnification optic scope that works in very low light ?
* a red dot scope ?
* a laser pointer type sight ?
These hogs are pests and I'm needing to thin them out at the ranch. Cost of the sighting system is a very important factor. Whatever I get needs to stand up to the recoil of a 30-06 but be very economically priced.

I have just the thing for you. Try this NcStar green laser, #ARLSG. It comes with a pretty universal barrel mount and a coil switch. Green is the way to go, as it is up to 50 times more easily seen by the human eye. Should be perfect for your application, and it won't break the bank.
