Browning holographic (red dot)

Postby murphy on Tue Jun 01, 2010 6:19 pm

Hello all,
I am having a problem with a new Browning holographic (Browning Buck mark. I mounted it and while I was trying to zero it in it seemed good then the dot shifted...it was off a foot high and 3 inches to the left. I loaded another mag and it seemed back on target. A couple of mags later it did it again. All hardware is tight...nothing is moving physically. Anyone else ever had a similar situation? Any suggestions?
Thanks
Murphy

Sometimes the adjustment wheel on sights with four different reticles will move out of place a bit. Sounds like this is what is happening. Perhaps a return to Browning will result in a new unit with a more secure detent to prevent movement. Also, the different reticle generally do not have exactly the same point of impact on sights of this type.
