Red or green laser debate
Hey all,
I have a Beretta PX4 9mmm and am contemplating what laser would be best for my pistol.
I've heard that red vs. green lasers are subject to the environment and situation in which they're used. I highly doubt that I would need my gun in a defensive situation. I'm really just looking at what would be best for recreational shooting at a range. Red lasers seem to be less expensive, but would the color of the laser itself blend in with a target if the center of mass is red as well?

Re: Red or green laser debate
Green is absolutely more visible in all conditions than red. They say the human eye can see green 50 times more easily than red, and from practical tests, I think it's so. You can see the green dot on a colored or white target much farther than a red laser. In extremely cold temperatures, most green lasers have problems working, and green uses much more battery power than red, but if you can afford the extra cost, green is really the way to go.
