Aligning Lasermax sight to Glock 19 sights

Postby murick on Sat Jun 10, 2006 12:13 am

I have recently mounted a Lasermax internal laser sight into my Glock 19, but the "factory aligned" laser dot appears about 3" to 5" to the left of my sighting using the gun sight. This is at only 7 yards. Can it be adjusted, or have I made a mistake in mounting the laser?

Hi Murick,

I just spoke to Lasermax. The specifications are plus or minus two inches to the bore at twenty yards. The only thing we could think of is if the battery cap is not on right or the whole rod is not seated correctly or oriented the right way.

I played with mine on my Glock 22 when I got home yesterday, but couldn't get it to point any way but parallel with the bore.

Your sights might not line up perfectly with the bore's access, but it shouldn't be off that much at that close distance.

Lasermax said they would be glad to look at it if you are still having problems. 1-800-LASER-03. 3495 Winton Place, Rochester, NY 14623

Hope this helps.
