Tasco Pro Point
I see that the info for the Tasco Propoint mentions that it can be used on pistols and shotguns. What about rifles and muzzleloaders? If not, what red dots do you suggest for rifles and shotguns?

Yes, the Tasco Propoint Red Dot sights can be used on rifles and muzzleloaders. Eye releif is basically unlimited, so it is mostly a matter of how to mount one on your particular gun.
All red dot sights on the market are designed to mount on Weaver styles bases. As long as you have one of these bases on your gun, you can mount a Propoint on it.
Most modern inline muzzleloaders are drilled and tapped for these bases. Traditional caplock and flintlock weapons will probably require a trip to a gunsmith.
